Bull Bar Fitment: What You Need to Check Before Buying

5 min read

Model year, variant, sensor configuration and body type all change which bar actually fits.

Model year is not enough

Two utes built in the same year can take different bars. Mid-cycle facelifts, variant-specific bumpers and optional driver-assist packages all change the front end.

Before ordering, collect your build date, variant, and where possible your VIN or build plate details.

Check your sensor and camera hardware

Modern vehicles carry radar, parking sensors and forward cameras behind or within the grille and bumper. Some bars require sensor relocation, and some vehicles require recalibration after fitment.

  • Count and photograph your front parking sensors.
  • Note whether you have adaptive cruise control.
  • Check for a forward-facing camera behind the windscreen or in the grille.

When in doubt, ask

If any part of the fitment is unclear, contact us with photos of your front end and your build details. We would rather confirm the fit than have you receive a bar that does not suit your vehicle.

Important: Product compatibility, certification and compliance can vary by vehicle, model year, configuration and jurisdiction. Customers should confirm applicable requirements before purchase or installation. ACM Bull Bars 4x4 Accessories does not make compliance claims unless specifically supported by the relevant product documentation.
